The 2019 Porsche 718 Boxster is a popular roadster that packs a punch with a powerful flat-four engine that offers anywhere from 300 to 365 horsepower. So what’s new for the 2019 model year? The 718 Boxster now comes standard with a sport exhaust system that was previously available as optional equipment. Also, Porsche’s Car Connect system is now standard. For the 2019 model year, the 2019 Porsche 718 Boxster is available in three trims. First, there is the Base trim which offers 300 horsepower. Then there is the mid-level S trim that comes with a standard 350 horsepower flat-4. Finally, the Boxter offers a top-of-the-line GTS trim that offers a powerful 365 horsepower flat-4 engine.

The Boxster offers a number of exterior equipment including Bi-Xenon headlights, LED taillights, and red calipers. This equipment is standard on the S trim and optional on the Base trim. Moving on to the interior, the 718 Boxster offers heated seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, power doors, power windows, and leather seats. So how is the performance? All trims of the 718 Boxster are really quick. The top-of-the-line GTS model can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.6 seconds. The Base and the S trim can achieve a 0 to 60 time of anywhere between 4.4 to 4.6 seconds. This makes the 718’s performance comparable to the BMW M cars and Mercedes’ AMG models.
