 What’s New for the 2018 Porsche 911?

This year, Porsche introduces a new Carrera T spin-off of the classic Carrera coupe. The classic touring model features a longer, wider stance designed to effortlessly hug even the tightest curves, with a lightweight frame that enhances the already unmatched performance of the 911. The Carerra S and 4S models can now be upgraded with a 3.0 S Powerkit that increases engine output from 420 to 450 horses. A new exterior color, Chalk, is now available for all Porsche 911 models. If you opt for the Targa model, you can choose a black roll hoop and tailpipes. The interior has been upgraded with several stylish two-tone upholstery options, along with two new interior packages that include contrast stitching detail and other extras.

All 911 models have been upgraded with a carbon-based cabin filter that purifies the internal air, along with a readout of air circulation included on the instrument cluster. Another upgrade extends beyond the 911 to all 2018 Porsche models. Purchase of a new Porsche now includes a full year of complimentary scheduled maintenance. In addition to the 2018 model year changes, all 911 models are equipped with leather upholstery, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, an eight-speaker sound system with satellite and HD Radio, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, front and rear park assist, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with real-time navigation and voice commands.
